The helmet is very lightweight for being a 3/4, i enjoy an open face on my bike but needed something to cover my ears and help with wind noise. This helmet delivers.
Amazing, for the price
I got this helmet on a Black Friday sale for $29.99 USD. Amazing price! It is everything it claims to be, small profile, lightweight, really cool quick release clip. The inside isn't entirely comfortable, the inner forehead material is a little rough. The fit is great, but not plush, so it doesn't have that squish to fit feature. I found it starts to slip/slide back once I hit about 55/60mph. Flat black finish and snaps are cool. Overall an amazing extra helmet to have for $30.
Finally
Found light weight these DOD helmets that are reasonably comfortable and less bulky. The 3/4's haven't been used much yet. The 1/2, peaked Carbonator, made a 5k trip as soon as arrived. I don't wear one usually, but did this trip. Most comfortable helmet I've worn in over 40 years of serious riding.
Sick..... Lid!
I guess ordering on a Saturday isn't the best if you're trying to take advantage of the free 2 day shipping but none the less received my helmet and am completely satisfied with my purchase. This was my black Friday "big TV" purchase and I'm definitely happy with my new lid. They even threw in a unexpected gift, that's for the phone holder y'all! Much appreciated! Will definitely be doing business with bikerhelmets.com again in the near future!
3/4 Retro
I haven’t rode with it but I will the upcoming week. I love the fit and look. It isn’t too bulky and very light compared to others. I bought the beanie from you all and loved that one. As I continued to ride I realized I needed a helmet to cover my ears because of the wind but I still wanted the opened face. I think I’m going to really love this one also like the beanie.
